VIÑEDO PAGO DE INA.jpg

A UNIQUE PLACE IN THE WORLD

The soils of the Ribera del Duero are mainly composed of clay and limestone limestone layers. The main differences correspond to the different altitude of the soils.

Our grapes come from vineyards that are found in the highest areas, where the limestone layer emerges on the surface, which can reach up to half a meter thick. This makes the soil colder, since limestone reflects light, and less permeable.

The weather is very extreme with temperatures that can reach twenty degrees of difference between day and night. These factors provide a high polyphenolic concentration to the grapes, which gives them a very high quality and a long storage capacity.

VITICULTURE

RESPECTFUL AND SUSTAINABLE

We defend sustainable viticulture that is born from the deep conviction that respect for the exceptional nature of our vineyards favors the expressiveness of the terroir. Respect for its uniqueness gives the unique style of our wines.

VINTAGE

IN THE OPTIMAL MATURATION MOMENT

The maximum respect for the terroir and the meticulous work of the vineyard, highlight the typicality and aging capacity of the Tempranillo. We naturally limit the yield of each strain, so that the production ranges between 3,500 kg and 5,000 kg per hectare. After an exhaustive follow-up of the ripening of the grapes, we determine the optimum time of the grape harvest, which we carry out manually and in boxes of 20 kilos.
